The "Black Panther" will mark the first screening of a film release in the kingdom  Saudi Arabia since movie theaters were banned in the early 1980s, after Saudi Arabia adopted ultraconservative religious standards in 1979. Removal of the ban, announced last December, is part of a drive by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to transform Saudi society.

Black Panther" will inaugurate the new Saudi era in a luxurious cinema in a building originally intended to be a symphony concert hall. The facility, in Riyadh's King Abdullah Financial District, has more than 600 leather seats, on orchestra and balcony levels, and marble bathrooms. Though installing the system, be it solar or wind, may initially seem expensive, it is looked upon as an investment as the utility bill turns to minimum as the sun or wind provides free power. Of these, wind power can be tricky as it depends on, well, wind. But the sun is there, bright as ever every day, without fault. It is more dependable.

A four-alarm fire on the 50th floor of New York City's Trump Tower left one man dead and six firefighters injured, the FDNY said, the second blaze this year at President Trump's Fifth Avenue high-rise. The cause of the fire is still unknown. 

The NYPD identified the victim as Todd Brassner, 67. 

"The apartment was virtually entirely on fire. They pushed in heroically, they were knocking down the fire, they found one occupant of the apartment on the 50th floor," Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro said.

The FDNY said that six firefighters suffered injuries. Over 44 units and about 190 firefighters responded.
